Justin Wilson, most commonly known as Comic J Will, is an overall entertainer through and through. Born on Detroit’s eastside, J Will knew at a young age that making others laugh was his calling. His charisma, quick wit, and intrinsic storytelling has earned him comedic co-signs from the likes of Chris Rock, Angela Yee, and more.

From being the host of Michigan’s top cannabis podcast, The Weed Bar, starring in feature films, being a radio personality on Michigan’s most popular Hip-Hop and R&B station, touring with Amanda Seales, and continuously being featured on The Breakfast Club, J Will is earning is stripes and is becoming a undeniable force in the entertainment industry.

As the host of The Weed Bar, J Will brings a fresh style of interviewing that is seen through the open and vulnerable dialogue from guests. Combining his comedic style with a serious tone, J Will has been able to pull true personalities out of some of the industry’s less vocal stars from Too Short to Icewear Vezzo to Curren$y. With the heightened platform of the podcast, J Will has turned himself and the show into the go-to destination for interviews and spotlights regarding cannabis in Michigan.

J Will has found much success in film, starring in two feature films, Buffed Up (2015) and The Mule (2019). Reaching over 6 million total views, J Will has proved that his talents reach far beyond the stage and just that of a comedian.

If he’s not riding around the City of Detroit showing his social media following the next big adventure he’s encountered, J Will is spending time with his family and friends. Family is his biggest motivation and the one person he truly wants to make smile the most is his 10-year-old son, Rio.

Given the heavy industry eyes that are unfolding more of Detroit’s talent, it’s safe to say that Comic J Will is next up.
